Sammallahdenmäki – use the services
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the nomination of the Bronze Age burial site Sammallahdenmäki as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the area’s guided services and take part in events in the area celebrating the anniversary.
Guide service
A guide is present at Sammallahdenmäki from Monday to Friday at 11-17 between 1.-31.7. The guide is best reached in the southern end of the area (Savulaaksontie). The guide service is 2 €/person.
Bus transportation
Bus transportation from the centre of Rauma to Sammallahdenmäki is available on Thursdays between 4.7.-29.8.2019. The departure is at 13.00 nearby Rantatalo in Poroholma Holiday centre (Suvitie) and at 13.10 from Savilanpuisto charter bus stop (Savilankatu). Return to the city centre is at 15.30 at the latest. The guided tour in the area is in Finnish. The walking distance in the Sammallahdenmäki rocky forest terrain is around two kilometers.
The price of the bus tour is 10 €/person. It includes the shuttle bus service and a guided tour (in Finnish). Tickets for the excursion can be bought online or with cash on the bus.

16.7. 18-19 and 30.7. 18-19 Taiji – meditation in the nature. Included are simple and relaxing taiji exercises in the surrounding nature.
23.7. at 17.00 Take part in ‘Happiness and energy in the nature’ well-being excursion. Dive into the beautiful scenery of Finnish nature. Enjoy the tranquility of nature and explore nature derivated well-being through information bulletins.
