AKT’s strike affects Rauman Gyyt public transportation on February 14th and 15th

The strike by the Auto and Transport Workers’ Union AKT on Wednesday, February 14th and Thursday, February 15th, will halt Rauman Gyyt traffic. The strike also affects Seutu+ traffic schedules.

The Rauman Gyyt routes affected by the strike are 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3, 4, 4A, 4C, 4X, 5, 50, 50A, 50S, 53, 58, 59, 6, 6X, 80, and 80V.

The Seutu+ routes affected by the strike are 50, 51, 52, 52X, 53X, 54, 59, 100, 101, 102, 104, 151, 152, 154, 161, 162, 163, 164, and 165.

Possibly operated schedules will be updated on the website www.rauma.fi/rauman-gyyt, according to information provided by the operators.

– Operated schedules and transportation will be clarified with the operators. Information about possibly operated school transports will be communicated to the guardians through Wilma on a school-by-school basis. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the strike, says public transportation planner Mikael Saive.

– We hope that guardians will take care of students’ school transportation on routes where transportation cannot be arranged. If a student cannot attend school, the guardian must notify the teacher, says Director of Education and Youth Affairs Hanna Viljanen-Lehto.

Traffic resumes normally on Friday, February 16th.
