Open yards and handicraft boutiques
The idyllic courtyards of Old Rauma will once again open their gates for the entire Lace Week. In addition to admiring the beautiful courtyards, some of them will also host a flea market where you can buy souvenirs, for example. Come and discover the courtyards of the Wooden Town and the life of a World Heritage Site!

Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During the Lace Week, several residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to the visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The aim is to offer the people of Rauma, tourists and anyone else who is interested the opportunity to discover the courtyards and the life of the World Heritage Site.
The yards can be identified on the spot by the logo of the Old Rauma Association. The courtyards are open according to the residents’ schedule, usually the gardens open at 10.00. There are about thirty open courtyards. The number of sites may vary from day to day, as residents participate on a voluntary basis.
