‘Hold Hands’ is a series of soft sculptures created from gloves and mittens collected during a three-month community art project with RaumArs. These pieces serve as ‘portraits’ of the participants, reflecting their individual stories through various colors, shapes, and textures. By installing these ‘hold hands’ sculptures, the project visualizes the connection between the people of Rauma, turning individual stories into a collective installation for Lace Week.
Yulim Song (Seoul, South-Korea) was the artist-in-residence of RaumaArs during the spring of 2026.
