Lace-Making Grip and Tightening
Always hold on to the bobbins, never tighten from the threads. The correct lace-making grip will help you keep the threads taut. Keeping the threads taut while you work makes it easier to get a neat and tidy lace.
Rotating the Roller
Make the lace so that the lace touches the mynsteri at all times: turn the roller backwards during the process so often that the lace rests on the mynsteri at all times, and is not in the air as in the picture below.
Inserting the Pins
Place the needles vertically (straight) on the work. Always use straight pins. If you rotate the roller often enough, you will allow the pins to be placed at the right angle.
