Events marked in đ in the program are particularly suitable for families with children. Children are also welcome to other events unless an age limit is specifically indicated.

Welcome to make theatre puppets. You can choose to make a finger puppet or a hand puppet. There are three groups of puppetry classes, from which you can choose the time that suits you best. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Group C) 15â16

10.00â Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During the Lace Week, several residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to the visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards can be identified on the spot by the logo of the Old Rauma Association.
NOTE! The yards are open according to the resident’s schedule, usually starting at 10.00.

All lace makers are welcome to come and lace their own works at the event. The Lace Center Emelia offers coffee and buns for the lace makers participating in the event.

The Story of the Rauman lace exhibition offers fun activities for the little ones in the family! Help the lace-maker find the objects that have fallen out of the basket!

During the Lace Week you have an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. At Marela, the lace-maker enjoys the indoor space, which is accessible for the price of the museum admission fee. At Kirsti, on clear days, the lace-maker is in the courtyard, where admission is free. Otherwise there is an admission fee.

11.30 Guided tour of Old Rauma
Walking is the best way to sense the atmosphere of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Rauma and to notice its magnificent details. The guided tour takes place on foot, led by a guide in the beautiful Old Rauma. The guide leads the group through narrow and winding alleys, telling the history and present-day significance of this culturally and historically valuable area. The journey delves into the culture and past times of Rauma, to the neighborhoods of sailors and craftsmen.
Price 10 âŹ/person, under 15 years free.
Duration 1,5 hours.

Children’s non-stop workshop “Dream your own park”, where children can create a dream park with characters, plants and animals.
In Lönnström’s home mouse corner, children can follow the adventures of Lönnström’s home mouse on video in the museum. The home mouse corner is in Finnish.
There is an entrance fee, children under 18 are free.

Thereâs always something lost in the grand royal manor â what will it be this time? The treasure hunt takes place in the alleys of Old Rauma. This guided tour, led by a historical character, introduces the UNESCO World Heritage Site from a childâs perspective.
Designed for children aged 4â10. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (children under 2 can join for free with an adult). Price is 10 ⏠per child, payable on site in cash or via MobilePay. Duration is 1 hour.
