10.00â Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During the Lace Week, several residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to the visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards can be identified on the spot by the logo of the Old Rauma Association.

đ10.00 Royal manor treasure hunt for children (FIN)
Thereâs always something lost in the grand royal manor â what will it be this time? The treasure hunt takes place in the alleys of Old Rauma. This guided tour, led by a historical character, introduces the UNESCO World Heritage Site from a childâs perspective.
Designed for children aged 4â10. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (children under 2 can join for free with an adult). Price is 10 ⏠per child, payable on site in cash or via MobilePay. Duration is 1 hour.

During the Lace Week you have an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. At Marela, the lace-maker enjoys the indoor space, which is accessible for the price of the museum admission fee. At Kirsti, on clear days, the lace-maker is in the courtyard, where admission is free. Otherwise there is an admission fee.

During Lace Week, children can pick up an activity sheet at the museumâs front desk. Valo the sailor guides families to various learning points marked on a map. At these stations, children can try out, touch, draw, create, play, and explore. Along the way, theyâll dive into Valoâs life and work aboard a sailing ship. The activity sheet is available in both Finnish and English.
The adventure tour is included in the museum admission. Free entry for children under 7.

One day, something strange happened in Old Rauma. To solve the mystery, clever young detectives are needed! Using clues gathered during the tour, theyâll work to find out who is responsible. Could the mischievous lace town elves be behind it all?
The story is fictional, but during the guided tour participants will also explore the charming details of Old Rauma and learn a little about its history and present day.
The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and covers about 1 km.
Price is 8 âŹ/person (adults must also buy a ticket). Children cannot participate alone, each child must be accompanied by their own adult.
The tour is designed for children aged approximately 4â11, but everyone is welcome to join. Children aged 0â3 can join the rest of the family for free.

The exhibition presents the history and present day of lace-making in Rauma, featuring lace treasures and memories from the collections of the Rauma Museum. The tour lasts about 30 minutes.

15.00 Guided tour to the exhibition Rauma Triennale 2025: Enchanting Effort
The third international Rauma Triennale exhibition, Enchanting Effort, opens to the public on 7 June at Rauma Art Museum and Art Space Muijala. It has its roots in the Baltic Sea Biennales held at Rauma Art Museum. Exhibited across both venues, Enchanting Effort brings together thirteen artists and artist groups who explore the theme of effort in personal, critical and curious ways. A guided tour will allow you to take a closer look at the exhibition, the works on display, and the ideas and themes behind the curated selection.
