10.00â Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During the Lace Week, several residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to the visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards can be identified on the spot by the logo of the Old Rauma Association.
NOTE! The yards are open according to the resident’s schedule, usually starting at 10.00.

10.00â13.00 MacramĂ© keychain workshop
Come make an easy keychain using the macrame or knotting technique!
You can come to the non-stop workshop between 10.00â13.00 and leave when the work is finished. Making a keychain takes about 1 hour. The workshop can accommodate 5 participants at a time; so be prepared to wait a while.
The price is 7 âŹ, which includes instruction and supplies.
The keychain workshop is suitable for people over 10 years old.

During the Lace Week you have an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. At Marela, the lace-maker enjoys the indoor space, which is accessible for the price of the museum admission fee. At Kirsti, on clear days, the lace-maker is in the courtyard, where admission is free. Otherwise there is an admission fee.

The traditional cafĂ© of the Rauma Martha Association, where you can enjoy Rauma’s traditional foods such as lapskoussi, pankakko and topselivellinki from 11.00â14.00, or as long as there is food left. The courtyard cafĂ© will continue to stay open everyday until 18.00 as a waffle cafĂ©.

đ12.00 Midday music moment – Children’s music session and the story Mio, Adisa and the Whispering spruce (FIN)
Come and listen to children’s music and singing performances. Mio, Adisa and the Whispering spruce combines story, organ music and puppetry. The story is written by Anna Virtanen, a story retrieval counsellor from Rovaniemi, and the music is composed by Anna-Maria Togbenou, the Rauma parish choirmaster.

The exhibition presents the history and present day of lace-making in Rauma, featuring lace treasures and memories from the collections of the Rauma Museum.
The tour lasts about 30 minutes.

Thereâs always something lost in the grand royal manor â what will it be this time? The treasure hunt takes place in the alleys of Old Rauma. This guided tour, led by a historical character, introduces the UNESCO World Heritage Site from a childâs perspective.
Designed for children aged 4â10. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (children under 2 can join for free with an adult). Price is 10 ⏠per child, payable on site in cash or via MobilePay. Duration is 1 hour.

Gathering in front of Poselli at 17.00, from where the parade will head to Rauma Art Museum.
Presentation of national costumes â participants are welcome to share the story of their own costume. Varavirta band will perform at 17.30. You can bring your own picnic snacks.
