10.00– Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During the Lace Week, several residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to the visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards can be identified on the spot by the logo of the Old Rauma Association.
NOTE! The yards are open according to the resident’s schedule, usually starting at 10.00.

🐞10.00 Royal manor treasure hunt for children (FIN)
There’s always something lost in the grand royal manor – what will it be this time? The treasure hunt takes place in the alleys of Old Rauma. This guided tour, led by a historical character, introduces the UNESCO World Heritage Site from a child’s perspective.
Designed for children aged 4–10. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (children under 2 can join for free with an adult). Price is 10 € per child, payable on site in cash or via MobilePay. Duration is 1 hour.

Iirolandia has a lot of different sporting opportunities. There is for example special made bounce mat, different throwing tasks, balance course, foam modules to play with, tilts and so on and so on. Big space from the indoor arena is also reserved for different ball games.
Iirolandia is a joyful sports event aimed at children under 12 and their parents.

The Story of the Rauman lace exhibition offers fun activities for the little ones in the family! Help the lace-maker find the objects that have fallen out of the basket!

During the Lace Week you have an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. At Marela, the lace-maker enjoys the indoor space, which is accessible for the price of the museum admission fee. At Kirsti, on clear days, the lace-maker is in the courtyard, where admission is free. Otherwise there is an admission fee.

The event features 140 entrepreneurs from over 30 countries and various regions of Finland, showcasing their specialty products. There will be amazing international food stalls, handicrafts, and textile. There will also be a funfair for children in the area.

Come make an easy keychain using the macrame or knotting technique!
You can come to the non-stop workshop between 10.00– 13.00 and leave when the work is finished. Making a keychain takes about 1 hour. The workshop can accommodate 5 participants at a time; so be prepared to wait a while.
The price is 7 €, which includes instruction and supplies. The keychain workshop is suitable for people over 10 years old.

The traditional café of the Rauma Martha Association, where you can enjoy Rauma’s traditional foods such as lapskoussi, pankakko and topselivellinki from 11.00-14.00, or as long as there is food left. The courtyard café will continue to stay open everyday until 18.00 as a waffle café.

Lions Club Rauma/Ruori is organising a Black Lace Night Narvi Fest 2025 charity event in the courtyard of Narvi-Sähkö.
A variety of music genres will be on offer, from dance music, rhythm blues, Finnish pop and rockabilly. Performers include Elli & Extempo, 76 Notes, Haitaritaiteilija Janne Mäkinen, Blues Train, Kiertokatu Ateljee and Howling Boozers. In the 24st competition for the title of the “Town’s Fastest Lace-maker”, competitors make bobbin lace for 30 minutes following a traditional six-pair lace pattern (uddi). The winner is the one able to complete the largest piece of lace within the specified time limit.

The highlight of Rauma’s baseball summer is a fantastic Lace Week friday’s match! On Friday 26.7. at 17:00 at Fera’s home field you will see finnish baseball, when local opponent Laitila Jyske will play against Fera. There’s guaranteed entertainment, great performances and the best atmosphere of the summer – you won’t want to miss it!
