The events calendar of the city of Rauma was renewed

The city of Rauma has introduced a new events calendar, which can be found at tapahtumat.rauma.fi. The calendar serves all event organizers in Rauma, as well as locals and tourists looking for event information.

“In the update, the events calendar has received a fresh look and added functionalities. The content has also expanded, as we now automatically include events from Rauman Lippu.fi, Ticketmaster.fi, Tiketti.fi, and Lähellä.fi,” communications manager Raija Lehtorinne explains.

Events are listed on the front page of the calendar in chronological order. Additionally, they can be searched by keyword, event category, and date. Clicking on an event name reveals detailed information about the event.

“We also highlight current and interesting event series on the front page,” adds Lehtorinne.

Each event organizer can create their own organizer profile, submit their events to the calendar, and update any changing information themselves. Instructions for creating an organizer profile and events can be found on the calendar’s front page. Event information can also be submitted in English. Events are displayed after moderation.

“We hope all event organizers will actively start using our new calendar and list their events there,” says Lehtorinne.

The events calendar is provided by Eventz International Oy, which supplies similar calendars to several cities.

The latest update of the events calendar is part of the Rauma city website renewal. The new website will be launched on June 18th.
