Old Rauma is included in the World Heritage Cities colour scheme

The Northwest Europe and North America World Heritage Cities Organisation (OWHC Northwest Europe and North America) has released a colouring page. Old Rauma is included in the compilation of 24 member cities.
The colouring page shows buildings and other monuments that are characteristic of the city. Old Rauma is symbolised by the neo-renaissance façade of the main building of Katula, or Wähä-Knuutla. Other sites in the colour scheme include the Museum Island in Berlin, the Cathedral in Bordeaux, the Le Chateau Frontenac hotel in Quebec and Independence Hall in Philadelphia, where the US Declaration of Independence was adopted. The colouring page was created by Florian Hauer, a graphic designer and cartoonist from Regensburg.
People often wish to see different coloured pictures of old Rauma. It’s great that the picture was created in cooperation with other World Heritage cities,” says Henri Raitio, Deputy World Heritage Coordinator.
A2-size colour photos are available free of charge from the renovation centre Tammela, the Pyyrman service point, the Old Town Hall and the Marela Museum in Rauma. You can also print the colouring page from the OWHC website. The colouring picture is suitable for all ages.
The colouring picture is a fun way to get to know the world heritage cities. You can create your own colourful version of the sites,” says Mervi Tammi, Deputy World Heritage Coordinator.
