Old Rauma Christmas Lights
The streets of Old Rauma come to life with enchanting lights.
Lighting
The lights in Old Rauma, which bring light and a festive atmosphere around them, are a much-anticipated sign of the start of the Christmas season. The lights will be on from 22.11.2025 to 6.1.2026. Kitukränni will be light up by the Geometry of Comets art work.
Lighting is implemented in a responsible and thoughtful way. They bring joy and a Christmas atmosphere to the darkness of winter. The city’s Christmas lights use LED technology, which consumes little energy. The timing of the lights and the installations has been designed to take into account the people living nearby and any possible light and/or sound disturbance.
New lights along the canal
A new Christmas-themed lighting will be set up along the Rauma Canal. The lights bring festive spirit beyond Old Rauma this year!
You can find the lights at Kanalinranta 3, opposite the City Hall.
Responsible Christmas
We want to make Christmas in Lace Town a sustainable and responsible event.
Lumen Light Art Event
The dazzling Lumen Light Art Event is held annually in Rauma in January. The 2026 event will take place from January 14 to 17.
The light art installations for the event will be announced in December 2025.
