Syväraumanlahti

In Syväraumanlahti you can enjoy the delights of a small marina. The Marina Vista restaurant and café is located next to the marina, where you can enjoy live music on the lovely terrace during the summer. The marina, which can accommodate over 1,000 boats, creates an almost Mediterranean atmosphere on summer evenings.

On the other side of Syväraumanlahti is Saharanta beach, a favourite with families with children. There are also other activities next to the beach; such as padel courts.

The port of Syväraumanlahti is also the port of departure for scheduled traffic in the Rauma archipelago.

Fåfänga

The Fåfänga peninsula is located between Syväraumalahti and Otanlahti, creating its own recreational area. In Fåfänga, there is something for all ages to do, from a outdoor pool to a summer theatre.

You can also enjoy a wide range of art in the area. The Nokka Art Croft displays art by artists from Rauma, and if you look towards the sea you can see the Lönnström project, Raimo Saarinen’s Floating Island.

Kiikartorni, an 18.6 metre high observation tower, is located right next to the art croft and offers views of the sea. Access to the tower is free on summer days.

Poroholma

The Poroholma holiday centre and campsite offer accommodation right by the sea. You can stay in your own caravan, tent or a holiday home. There is plenty to do at the cosy campsite and you can also hire various sports equipment such as kayaks or bicycles.

The Poroholma area offers a wide variety of dining options. For example, you can dine at a beach café or a sailing restaurant. In summer, the area also offers live music and karaoke, for example.
