At Syväraumanlahti, you can enjoy the offerings of the marina. Next to the marina, you’ll find Restaurant Marina Vista, where you can savor both a delicious lunch and a high-quality dinner. Marina Vista also features a floating sauna on the sea, where you can enjoy relaxing steams all year round. The bravest visitors can also take a refreshing dip in the sea!

Syväraumanlahti offers beautiful scenery and outdoor routes, just a stone’s throw from the city center. Take a walk along the seaside by the marina or follow the path leading to a small Fåfänga peninsula.

The Syväraumanlahti Harbor is also the departure point for Rauma Archipelago’s island traffic.

During summer, Marina Vista’s terrace comes alive with live music, offering not only good food but also a wonderful atmosphere. The marina with over a thousand berths creates an almost Mediterranean feeling on warm summer evenings.

You can also enjoy art at Syväraumanlahti during summer. The Nokka Art Cottage showcases works by local Rauma artists. Right next to it stands the Kiikartorni observation tower, 18.6 meters tall, offering stunning sea views. The tower is open to the public from May to September.

On the opposite side of Syväraumanlahti lies Saharanta Beach, a favorite among families with children. Nearby, you’ll also find other activities, such as padel courts.

Otanlahti is located between Syväraumanlahti and the Poroholma Holiday Center. With its sandy beach and rocky shoreline, it’s the perfect place to enjoy hot summer days. Bring a blanket and come relax by the sea!

Outside the summer season, Otanlahti is a pleasant area for outdoor activities. Take a stroll along the sandy shore right by the water, or walk beneath the trees on the nearby pedestrian path. Breathe in the fresh sea air and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the area.

At the Otanlahti Beach, you’ll find Poroholma Beach House, serving the coolest drinks and tastiest pizzas during the summer!

Otanlahti also offers culture and art in the summer. Right by the sea stands the Rauma Summer Theatre, where audiences can enjoy high-quality performances accompanied by a live band. In summer 2025, the theatre presented “Sitä saa mitä tilaa”, a musical play featuring hits by the Finnish band Yölintu.

Otanlahti is also a great placr for sports enthusiasts. You can swim at the Makis outdoor swimming pool (during summer) or in the sea, or rent a kayak for a longer adventure. The beach area also features bodyweight exercise equipment, and nearby you’ll find several sports fields, including basketball, volleyball, tennis, and football courts!

The Poroholma Holiday Center offers the chance to stay right by the sea. You can stay in your own camper van, a tent, or a cabin. The welcoming campsite offers plenty of activities, and you can also rent sports equipment such as kayaks or bicycles on-site.

During the summer season, Poroholma offers a variety of dining options. You can enjoy a meal at a beach café or dine aboard a sailing ship restaurant. In the summertime, the area also comes alive with live music and karaoke nights, creating a fun and lively holiday atmosphere.
