An outdoor sports field located on the shore of Rauma Canal

The Rauma Canal shore, on the Tarvontori plot (Valtakatu 2), has been set up with an Exel Multisport outdoor platform and a Swerink outdoor rink serving users until autumn. An 8-meter wide and 18-meter long court was installed earlier on June. Portable bleachers were also brought to the edges of the court.

The outdoor platform, rink, and goals are borrowed to Rauma from the Finnish Floorball Federation, and the city is responsible for preparing the court base.

The court is freely accessible to all interested parties. During the court’s usage period, floorball sticks and balls can be borrowed from the Service Point Pyyrman on the other side of Valtakatu.

The rink will feature the event theme of the Euro Floorball Tour, which will take place in Rauma and Turku in October, involving the national teams of Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic in both men’s and U19 categories. Before the men’s floorball world championships, a practice tournament will be held at Kivikylä Arena and Kari Campus in Rauma on October 19-20. During the tournament on Saturday, October 19, Kivikylä Arena will also host one match from Rauman SalBa Inssi-Divari.
