Rauma is the favourite destination for those who love art and handicrafts! The Rauma Art Museum, professional artists working in the city and active visual arts associations create a diverse artistic environment in the city.

The artist community in Old Rauma is active, and both artists and artisans enjoy working in the wooden houses. Many nationally and even internationally known artists live and work in Rauma.

Changing art exhibitions can be admired year-round at the Rauma Art Museum, Teresia and Rafael Lönnström Art Museum, and also at the Rauma Maritime Museum.

Jarmo Mäkilä: Poika 8.6. – 22.9.2024

Jarmo Mäkilä, born in Rauma (b. 1952), returns to his childhood memories in his first solo exhibition at the Rauma Art Museum.
