Shop and Recycled Building Supplies
Tammela recycles old building parts, supporting the residents of Old Rauma World Heritage Site and other house renovators. All the supplies and parts are received as donations.
Tammela has plenty of old doors, windows, mouldings, small parts and fireplace accessories for renovation.
Hinges and other small parts as well as fireplace accessories are for sale in the exhibition rooms and shop in Tammela and one of the outbuildings in the Tammela yard. Doors, windows and mouldings are located in separate warehouse in Uotila, Rauma, from where the product is collected at an agreed time.
In addition to recycling building parts, the Tammela Renovation Centre also has a small shop selling products such as window repair, maintenance and sealing. There are also books and guides for renovators of old buildings and those interested in restoration.
The Tammela Renovation Centre is open from June to end of August from 11 am to 5 pm, from Tuesdays to Sundays. During the winter season from the beginning of September to the end of May Tammela is open on Wednesdays from 12 to 3 pm.
The Uotila warehouse is not open to the public. Collections from Uotila are arranged separately. Please contact your repair adviser.
