Reksaari
An island retreat with the spirit of archipelago lifestyle. Here, hiking trails through nature meet the experiences offered by saunas and restaurants.

Reksaari is a perfect destination for a summer day with the whole family. Located just a short boat ride from the mainland, the island combines an authentic archipelago atmosphere with a wide range of services. Built around the old Karttu island farm, the area has preserved its traditional character while offering comfortable amenities for modern visitors.
On the island, you can enjoy a relaxing day in nature, take a dip in the sea after a sauna, join summer events, or stay overnight surrounded by beautiful archipelago scenery. Services include Restaurant Kapteenien Salakapakka, play areas for children, and the Wanha sauna – once even ranked as the second-best sauna in Finland.
Reksaari’s hiking trails wind through diverse island landscapes, offering the chance to explore local flora, birdlife, and scenic sea views. The routes are suitable for the whole family and provide peaceful nature experiences.
You can reach the island by private boat, water taxi, or charter transport from the Rauma region. Reksaari is an excellent day-trip destination, but for those wishing to stay longer, accommodation is available, for example at the Rohela reservable hut.
