During Christmas, the Market Square fills with numerous stalls and a magical atmosphere! This delicious and enchanting market delights visitors in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Old Rauma. The stalls offer wonderful local and regional products. Come and enjoy the traditional market spirit under the glow of Christmas lights.

The Christmas Market stage features a variety of performers and organized programs. Santa Claus can be found at the market on Saturday afternoons. As always, there’s a fireplace where you can grill your own snacks or buy sausages and marshmallows from the cottage to roast. Welcome to experience the magical Christmas Lace Town in Old Rauma!

Santa Claus visits the Market Square and Tammela’s Elf Village almost daily.
Every day at 3:00 p.m. (or at the announced time): Opening of the Giant Christmas Calendar! Have you remembered to take part in the raffle? – Read more in The Elves’ News, available at the Elves’ Cottage at the Christmas Market.
The outdoor fire burns daily! Buy your grill delicacies conveniently from the Christmas market.

Organizer
The producer and responsible organizer of the Rauma Christmas Market is Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys Oy, commissioned by the city. The company is in charge of producing the market, managing the vendor application process, organizing the program, coordinating with authorities, and handling all practical arrangements. Each year, Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys is involved in over 200 different events.
The Christmas of the Lace City is built with professionalism, a deep love for the season, and, above all, collaboration. Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys works closely with the Rakastunut Raumaan association and other key stakeholders.
The team at Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys is led by Kimmo Härkönen, who serves as the executive producer / Christmas Market Master. His deputies are Eemeli Tanskanen and Elias Järvinen from Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys, and Riikka Lehtinen from the Rakastunut Raumaan association. Tapahtumapalvelu Järjestys is also responsible for producing Tammela’s Elf Land and works in close cooperation with other Christmas events and programs in the region.
