The Advent Calendar Windows of Old Rauma

Twenty-four Christmas-themed windows across the historic Old Rauma will act as Advent calendar. Every window has been handcrafted by the residents of the Old Rauma. Windows are on display until 6th of January. The residents of the Old Rauma wish that you pay attention also to the interesting details of the houses in the UNESCO World Heritage site Old Rauma.

Atmospheric Advent calendar windows are identified by a number in the window that tells the date of the calendar. The locations of the calendar windows are marked on the map (pdf). The map can also be found from yard of Tammela, Eteläpitkäkatu 17, and from wall of Spärri, Kuninkaankatu 10.

Vanha Rauma Association organizes the event and also publishes pictures of the windows on Facebook page, facebook.com/vanharaumayhdistys (in Finnish).
