Sailor’s home museum Kirsti opens 17.5.

The summer attraction of Rauma Museum, the Sailor’s home museum Kirsti opens for public on Tuesday May 17. The museum’s address is Pohjankatu 3. Kirsti is open until August 31. The museum exhibits the lifestyles of house owners and tenant families in the 20th century. The main building of the museum is one of the oldest buildings in Old Rauma.

In May, the museum is closed on Mondays. From Tuesday to Friday the museum is open from 12 pm to 17 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays it is open from 11 am to 4 pm. On Wednesday May 25 the museum closes at 4 pm and on Thursday May 26 the museum is closed.

From June onwards, the museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Special opening hours can be seen on the Rauma Museum website www.rauma.fi/museo.

The entrance fee is 6 € adults, 3 € senior citizens, unemployed, students and free under 18 year olds. The Museum Card is also a valid payment method.
