Rauma Lace Week cancelled all public events 2020
Rauma Lace Week cancelled all public events 2020 due to Finnish Government’s advice to cancel large public events until July 31st 2020. Rauma Lace Week would have been organized 18.–26.7.2020.
– Many people in Rauma have been preparing the Lace Week’s anniversary programme. We are sure that the festival would have been excellent and an important part of summer in Rauma. However, the health and safety of the public, performers, organizers and employees is the most important thing, tells Executive Cultural Producer Leila Stenfors.
Parts of this years programme will be organized next year. Rauma Lace Week 2021 is 17.–25.7.
Lace Week’s organization is planning alternative way to implement Lace Week in 2020. More information on the exceptional program in July 2020 will be available shortly.
