Rauma celebrates the National Arts Day on July 10th

Rauman taidemuseo ja Hauenguanon kaivo.

Finland’s National Arts Day is on Sunday July 10th. During the day, many artists open their doors to their galleries and work spaces. The day holds also meetings with artist, art market and dance performances. The audience has a unique opportunity to watch wall painting to be painted live at Kaunisjärvi park.

There are more than 30 places or attractions to see and there are no entry fees. Rauma museums, which are Old Town Hall, Marela, Kirsti and Art museum, are open 10 am–6 pm.

An open discussion event is held at the Art museum, where visual artist Sepideh Rahaa is presenting their artwork “Songs to Earth, Songs to Seed” and telling about its themes and background. Rahaa’s piece is part of Rauma Triennale 2022 – Imagine! Mitä jos! –exhibition displaying at Rauma Art museum.
