Thursday 20.8. starting 27th The Blue Sea Film Festival brings to Rauma this time an exceptional set of great films. Due to the current situation in the world, the main event of the festival has been canceled, but there will be different and varied events like drive-in movies, movies in sauna and parks.

In connection with the festival, the Baltic Herring short film competition will be arranged for the 26th time. The Baltic Herring is a competition for residents of the coastal states of the Baltic Sea. The finalists selected by the pre-juries will be presented on Friday at the cinema Iso-Hannu (Savilankatu 4). The winner will be announced on Saturday and the awards ceremony will be arranged at Kulttuurikuppila Brummi (Karjalankatu 15).

Friday 21.8. The films that made it to the finals of the Baltic Herring short film competition will be showed together with the jury at the Iso-Hannu cinema (Savilankatu 4).

Saturday 22.8. drive-in shows in front of the winter training hall (Teollisuuskatu 19). Baltic Herring competition awards ceremony, winning films and rejoicing with music in Kulttuurikuppila Brummi (Karjalankatu 15). Sunday 23.8. there is a day sauna and short films at Merijakamo (Suvitie 14). On Sunday evening, in the courtyard of the Lönnström Home Museum (Syväraumankatu 41), a film about Selim Palmgren in collaboration with the Lönnström Art Museum.
